Be careful ordering at night. They will tell you your order is being made then their support team will cancel it last minute when the driver finally stops to pick up your food. Not only did I wait over an hour and a half (order around 10pm) because their app said the order was being made. But now it is to late to even try and order something else (11:50pm). They say you haven't been charged. That's not the point, I was trying to eat not be refunded.
Outrageous fees and Impossible to make Diamond level. I work at home and I depend upon delivery. I order every day, I was just a couple of months from reaching Diamond level and after spending thousands of dollars uber resets my balance all the way down to blue for not reaching the dollar amount in time. I tried the help section and that was a total waste of time. I'm sure I'll get a automated response after posting this. I will look into other apps.
Payment system is buggy and forces you to use credit cards. If you use pay with cash, you better hope you don't accidentally miss your delivery, because then you are unable to use the app until you beg customer service to refund the missing payments for you. Calling Uber or delivery driver doesn't work. It directs you to an American phone number, which is tough luck for all of us living outside of the US. You are forced to type a lengthy complaint and wait months for Uber to respond.
The extra fees are getting ridiculous. Just order straight from the restaurant and you can save anywhere from $10-20 in extra fees AND the restaurant gets to keep ALL the money. Plus, they won't refund you anymore after 3 times if you're missing items because "you've had too many adjustments." It's not my fault the restaurant left something off. Also, why are certain meals TWICE what the restaurant charges????
